BALKh, the first city in the world & more than 5000 years old. Founded by the ancestors of the Tajiks in the north of modern Afghanistan/ #Khurasan. Balkh is known as the “the mother of all cities” The cities of the East learned urban planning from the inhabitants of Balkh.
Nice place and hospitable and excellent people.
Interesting building made from clay bricks with spectacular views on Balkh and rural areas. You can meet there boys with their kites in the air.
