The Church of the Holy Sepulcher is one of the surviving synagogues of Afghan Jews in the Mohmandha neighborhood of the old city of Herat. This area was once known as the Mosaic neighborhood. UAV is the only synagogue of the four other synagogues in Herat (Assyria, Giant, UAV and the fourth without a name) that still remains with its original characteristics. The three-story synagogue consists of a gathering hall, side rooms, a corridor, and an exterior consisting of seven small and large domes with Jewish features.
