Zgara Kaon - Traditional food and Grill

This restaurant is perfectly located to get some food in your belly before or after looking at the castle. The food was delicious and quite cheap considering the location. Friendly staff and the perfect people watching spot on the balcony are another good reason to eat here.

In contrast to other reviewers, our experience was extremely unpleasant in this place unfortunately. The owner was extremely unfriendly and rude. I went there with my elderly parents during our trip in Albania. After we are seated we could not immidiately order food because we first wanted to know what is what. my father was trying to ask a question about a dish in the menu while the guy was behind my back.communication was not easy as he did not speak english. But instead of giving us a few minutes to decide he started to be loud and mad. Restaurant was not full or busy at all. There was one table dining and one table just ginished. My parents got intimidated and we had to leave. We are a Turkish family obviously without a North-Western look. So if you are as such i am sure you will have no problem. But otherwise just be careful
