Црква Глобочени

The church "St. Maria" in Glloboceni is a small Byzantine cap with a rectangular plan, with a size of 4.8 * 3.30m. On the eastern side is the apse. The church is covered with semi- cylindrical vault on which tiles the gable roof. For its construction were used stones associated with lime mortar while for the vault shmerci stones. The entrance to the church is carried on the western side, while the open windows in the abside and the south wall, are the only sources of light for its interior. Based on the initial phase of the pictures, we think that the initial building belongs to the XIV century.
