The Canyon of Llenges:
It is located near a village that has the same name. It was about 30 kilometers from Pogradec. This canyon is formed by dissolution of limestone rocks, river regression which caused the drying of the former lake in Moker. The “stones neck” is about 1 kilometer long, with a 50-60 meter slope perpendicular to the canyon furrow. The north of the village is Llenge is the church and monastery of Saint Mary. This cultural monument was reconstructed in 1752. The village of Llenge or Lunga as the former roman settlement was called, The “Stones Neck” canyon. The church of Saint Maren, is another destination visited frequently by adventurous tourists as the road presents difficulties.
