SARAVA TOWN

Sarava neighborhood extend in the west side of Lushnje city. According to historical archival eveidence Sarava it has been a village by itself, and known with the name Plug i Madh for not get confused with village Plug that is located 1.5 in west of Neighborhood Sarava . Like time of foundation of the village was given date 1790-1800.It also said that land of Sarava once was swampy place that frequently flood from waters Terbufi marsh. For the origin of it's name Sarava we must have in mind one fact.In the beginning Neighborhood Sarava was known with name Plug i Madh late in the beginning of 20th century found with two names Sarava and Plug i Madh. Name Sarava has entered in documentation in years 1920-1925 like microtoponym. What's catch the eye immediately is extend of this neighborhood alongside railway line of which we can say it has been an important restriction for development and inclusion entirely with city.In year 1953 this neighborhood undergo another change with denomination. In 23.09.1952 neighborhood Sarava replace and separated in two parts"20Tetori"(Sarava 1) and Kongresi i Permetit(Sarava 2).The agrarian cooperative was form in 19.11.1956.For many years cooperative of Sarava with name"20Tetori" has been distinguished for high productivity in cotton and vegetables. In the years 1990 it's name change again "18 Tetori" .Now this part is grown and develop with new possibilites for the future.
