Rafting Vjosa

Elti and his team were knowledgeable and friendly as we rafted down the lower Vjosa. We participated in a special event to raise awareness about a proposed hydroelectric dam where even the President of Albania made an appearance! And it was Elti's team at Rafting Vjosa whom the event organizers trusted to lead the participants for this event. A great time was had by everyone!

Absolutely gorgeous! Rafting the Vjosa was unforgettable and our rafting guide was excellent! The rapids were still running pretty well at the end of summer. I highly recommend this awesome experience!

We were very disappointed. Trip was less than 1,5 hours, only because our guide told us to stop paddling every few seconds to make it last longer. Small waves, slow pace, piles of thrash all over the river shore. Not fun at all. I regret coming there.

Our rafting experience at Vjosa was amazing - the river and the landscape is beautiful, the trip was well organized and lots of fun. Beni, the head of Albturist, is a lifelong experienced and warm adventurer. Except for rafting, they also organize hike tours through the nearby canyon and waterfalls.
