French Military Cemetery

This cemetery is the resting place of 640 French soldiers who died in World War I between 1916 and 1918 fighting against the Ottoman Empire then allied with the Central Powers. The graveyard was aet up in 1938 and revamped in 1963 and it is spread over an area of 300 hectares. Quiet place, very well maintained. Unfortunately it was closed when I passed by.
