Hotel Antag

I had a pleasant two days here. The hospitality was beyond amazing. Klara came and took us from the bus station to the hotel and another one from the staff drove us back when we checked out. The room was clean and with an excellent view of the pool which by the way was the greatest thing the hotel had. The water in it was clear like a mirror. Also the food was great. Just keep going and thank you for everything!

In short: Great for families with or without kids. Comfortable beds, modern and clean bathrooms, functional appliances and air conditioner, friendly and honest staff, variety of breakfast food, well maintained pool. Wifi connection is very poor in rooms, but decent when in the lobby. If you don’t have a car then you are fairly limited in terms of tourism, so the location is dependent on your form of transportation. There is a beach 2 minutes walking distance, but it is not the best — Rana E Hedhun (15 minute drive) is much better. In long: The rooms are clean, no signs of infestation, no smells, all appliances functional. The TV only has about 10 channels. There is an empty fridge provided. There is no safe to lock your belongings, and there is no clothes iron. There is a big closet-drawer combo provided which is more than enough space to unpack your clothes. The beds are comfortable, but maybe a little stiff. The bathrooms provide stand in showers, modern toilets and sinks. Shampoo, hand soap, toilet paper are complimentary. All staff (receptionists, waiters, maids) were all very welcoming and honest. No trickery. The pool is great! The pool is filled with salt water, is clean, and also has a kids section. Waiters attend to your every need at the pool. Tanning beds are very nice as well. Beside the pool is a kids playground with a trampoline and a nice volleyball court. Breakfast is buffet style from 7:30 10:00. Variety of delicious food: Eggs, sausages, cheese, meat, cereal, fruits, pastries, vegetables, coffee, water, juice.,etc. Plenty of food! Beach is a 2 minute walk from the hotel, and the city center is a 10 minute drive (walking to the city center is not recommended and appears unsafe: wild dogs, no lights, long roads with no sidewalks). The nearby beach is also not the best — unclean, crowded, very narrow. I instead went to “Rana E Hedhun” (15-20 minute drive) where the water is much cleaner, the beaches are beautiful and wide (Sueno beach was great). There are some restaurants in the area but I did not bother with them. The restaurant inside the hotel is very good and makes delicious food and cocktails. Their calamari was very good, and so were the pizzas. The prices were average (margarita pizza: 300 Lek) All in all it was a pleasurable experience as far as the hotel is concerned. Location not so much unless you have a car.

The best place to spend you summer vocation. This place offers all conditions starting with parking space, room service, beach-bar, free wi-fi, air conditioned and everything you need to spend some time. It has an excellent traditional cooking from all areas at Albania and from other countries such as Italian food.

Nice hotel and the staff were very courteous. They made every effort to make sure our stay was pleasant.
