Where to start...? Amazing nature,lovely forest and trees. I highly reccomend if you are new in hiking and you wanna start something easy but same time adorable. That is Shebenika then. Hope you enjoy as we did. Check the weather for a better experience.

Beautiful Hike. Our Guide was Berti from Astroturism Albania! It's an old road built during the Ottoman period, I believe, used for transportation of goods with cattle. The remains are there! You can see traces of animals such as rocks moved by bears that eat ants :D What I mean is, try to find the proper guide! They will show you the nicest of things. After a while you will walk into beautiful fields of grass, and you can finalize this hike with a visit to a massive underground cave called the Ice Cave. It was once a tunnel used by people but now it resembles a big Fridge! Always welcome in Albania! 🙏

One of the most interesting places to visit in Albania. I'd suggest to visit this National Park during the Spring/beginning of the summer. During that time the lake of the zone is beautiful and the scenery is also great.

Beautiful desolate and untouched nature as this used to be a restricted area. Due to the nature park's recent conception, be aware of limited to non existing trail markings (in the South of the park). Take a good map or GPS. Navigating on a sunny day above the tree line is relatively easy.

Shebenik- Jabllanicë is one of the protected area which is also a transborder area betwwen Albania and North Macedonia. It is distinguished for the variety of flora and fauna but specifically as the 'house' of Balkan lynx(lynx lynx) which it was thought disappeared but it is photograped again by termic cameras installed in the nationall park.
