Best food in the town. I tried more than 5 restaurants during my 3 day experience in Gjirokaster and Kurveleshi was the really one worth it . Simple place run by a local family. Felt like home

Quite a nice place with traditional Albanian dishes. We ordered veal hash soup and were rather satisfied - quick service tasty soup. It may not look very inviting, but the food is delicious. The only weak thing was that we took a table with an extra paper tablecloth already attached (additional tablecloths were put on all the tables), and there were crumbs from previous guests. In other Albanian spots, a tablecloth is put on when a customer places an order. Prices quite affordable - 300 ALL soup, 300 ALL mousse, so they do not deviate from the norm in Albania.
