The cold war tunnel

Awesome underground bunker. It costs about 200lek per person but you cannot go in without a guide. You need to first go to the tourist info booth and pay the fee then you’ll get the guide. The guide will take you into the tunnel. The total tour takes less than 20 minutes. There isn’t too much to see in all the rooms, but it is still pretty cool to walk through the halls deep in the mountain right under the fort. Worth the visit!

Was really good, tour guide had a bit of trouble with the key to the gate. Once we were in however, it was really cool, lots of secret entrances and exits!

We met a guide at the tourist office located right at the center square's parking lot. 200 lek PP. Took 15min for the tour. He described it's history and different rooms. Cool and damp. Much of what was inside has been stolen so there's not much other than the rooms the doors and a few chairs. Worth a visit however.

Not bad. They insist on giving a tour as per their policy, so if they are understaffed, they actually lock the gate until someone finishes up. Roughly 10 to 20 minutes depending on how many questions you have. Before you walk up the incline to the tunnel gates, make sure you buy a ticket at the booth or you will have to come down. The hotter it is outside, the more humid it is inside.

Amazing tour. The entry is free but if you pay 100 Leks per person you will hire a local guide who explains the history of the tunnel. The start of the activity is just behind the tourist information centre. A must to visit if you are in Gjirokastra.
