Free parking. It is best to go to Gijokastra in the morning, then there are free parking spaces (09.00). However, there are few, badly located and painted places.

There was a shortage of spaces in the parking lot so we asked the policeman if we could park under the tree. He agreed and he was still careful about our car. After returning we offered him Polish sweets. We split up very warmly. The Albanian police is the best in the world.

I pay a parking fee to a caretaker (police officer?). It is a prepayment. It was 50 rec per hour. The manager did not speak English, so I was asked to interpret it with nearby information. The parking lot below another slope is free.

You can leave the car and walk around the city.
