Alexander Apartments

The Alexander Apartments are located in a five-story new building on the main street "Rruga Pavaresia" along the coast with sandy beaches (Durres beach area). Entering Durres from the north, it is the beginning of the strict tourist and recreation center with restaurants, bars, hotels, and apartment buildings. Location of the building is quite convenient, because it is about 100 m from the beach and the sea, and approx. 2,5 km from the old town center (30 min walk or 5 min by a car). Unfortunately the beaches are privet and tightly covered by umbrellas with sunbeds (the cost 300-500 Lek per day). The building has a spacious underground parking and an elevator (it sometimes gets stuck between floors). My opinion applies to the Apartment 301 on III floor. The apartment is cosy and quite comfortable, with a large balcony and efficient air conditioner. The Host and the nice Girl from the reception were waiting for us. Upon arrival, everything was clean and fragrant. I was really positively surprised. However, to be objective, I will list disadvantages. The most frustrating was poorly working WiFi and permanent lack of internet connection. Minor disadvantages were incomplete tableware (lack of tea spoons and flat plates, just one pot), lack of a kettle (delivered by the Host after we asked), lack of a washing machine and a bowl (also delivered by the Host), lack of shelves in the bathroom. There was just one wardrobe insufficient to accommodate things. However, given the price-comfort ratio, I rate this apartment for five stars.

A few steps from the beach (unfortunately the sea is not the best), it boasts a large garage, a lift and a ramp for the disabled. I give three stars because on our arrival (11 am, check in was from 10 am) the room was not ready. Moreover, at least in my room (302), the blind bath fan was not fully functional.

Loved the apartments. No there is a kettle, the rest is all there. There is an underground parking. View of the sea or the main street. If the street is noisy at night. The beach is at hand, it's the first line. Umbrella and two loungers 300 lek

Small apartment with big problems. First of all the bathroom in very bad conditions
