Xhamia e Plumbit

A cool mosque on the outskirts of town. Worth a visit if you’re interested. Plenty of parking, and don’t be afraid of the road coming in from the main highway - you’ll make it.

Only good for a historical visit and to pray one or two Salah. You won't find any Toilet in here, which is a very big deal. No place to do wadu, just a tap installed, which make it quite difficult to perform Wadu. The Masjid (Mosque) itself is also not well maintained or should I say, preserved. The carpet, the interior, the exterior are in extreme poor condition. Furthermore, because of the river nearby and the standing water around the Masjid, you will be greeted with number of mosquitoes. On the plus side, I was greeted with a local man, who lives right beside the Masjid. And then I experienced the very best piece of Hospitality ever. He invited me home and while I used the Toilet and performed Wadu, he prepared the whole lunch for me, he was even about to Slaughter his duck to make food for me, which I have to stop him forcefully though 🙈😂🤣. Then he gave me pomegranate, grapes, apples from his farm 🙏🏻🥰❤️

Pretty place for a few minutes. If you visit the castle, this is very close and quite attactive. Kind of abandoned, so you can go in and have a look.

Very beautiful historical Masjid! it look like it’s missing it’s menarate but the rest of the structure is in good shape.

Xhamia e Plumbit in Shkodra is a landmark of city. It is very old and interesting place. It is situated in a area where time to time water overload it. This Xhami is a masterpiece. It is a touristic attraction. It is listed as a unique original building with a lot of values. A lot of people visit it.
