New Irish Pub

The only reason I gave this place 4 stars is because people were allowed to smoke inside. That's the only reason. Otherwise I would give this place 5 stars. I'd probably give it 6 stars. The bar was a bit confusing to find, it's actually not visible from the street as it is behind a cafe. The staff was fantastic. All of the employees had a great command of the English language and they were very attentive. They greeted us when we came to the door and they constantly made eye contact to make sure we felt comfortable and to see if we needed to be served. The bathrooms had soap and water which is a big plus. There are hand dryers in the bathroom. There is a beer menu but there isn't another menu for drinks. However you can tell the bartender what kind of drink or flavor you want and it will be made for you. Fantastic. The crowd was great as well. Everyone was between 18-35 on the Friday night that I went. Karaoke has been introduce here. The sound system is great and they have several tvs. The microphones were clean and they didn't have a smell which is another plus. The songs are streamed from YouTube and then played on the screens so you can sing any song of your choice. Songs in different languages are welcome as well and all genres are accepted. There were actually some very talented people performing. There is indoor seating and outdoor seating. It's one of those environments where I feel comfortable leaving my jacket at the table while I go to the bathroom, which says a lot. There is nothing to complain about. For a bar with karaoke I found it clean, it had a decent crowd and a friendly atmosphere. Well done. I will be returning. (Also they weren't smoking inside when we arrived. About 2 hours into the night people entered and started smoking) check this place out.
