WE GOT KICKED OUT! We took shelter from the heat and bought a bottle of water from the vending machine in the lobby before the entrance. The lady in shift said we cannot wait in the lobby unless we buy a ticket even though it was outside the museum entrance. Albanians are very nice, but that lady probably had a bad day. We forgive her..

It is important to have a visit of this museum to have a better understanding of Albania history and culture. Starting from its communist external architecture to all the artcrafts showed in the wild collections offered by the museum.

Enormous collection and array of exhibitions. Many signs were also in English. Affordable admission (250 LEK). Wish there had been more interpretive materials.
