Amazing museum with a lot of history, not exactly a beautiful one but is important to learn and remember to not let it happen again. Explanations in English, two floors, bunker and a lot espionage equipment. It costs 700 LEK. Definitely a must visit place in Tirana.

Visited on the 11/12/19. The museum was closed at the moment due to the earthquake. The ladies at the reception didn't know when they museum will reopen again since they're waiting for an answer for the responsible authorities to determine if it can be opened again. Anyways, I think that this kind of information should be posted somewhere online just to avoid unnecessary trips.

Good overview of how the secret police worked during the communist era. It is said to be a good complement to what you see in BunkArt, another museum in the city. I did not have time to go to the latter, but still appreciated the resources and facts presented here.

Beautiful building, central location. The museum really gives you a good impression of the communist past of Albania. Well organised. A lot of documents are in Albanian only, but nevertheless the museum teaches you a lot, all video's have subtitles.

Very interesting and important museum for every visitor of Tirana. The enternce fee is 700 LEK, which is not cheap , but its worth visiting in order to feel the atmosphere. I arrived at 16:00 and didn't have enough time to see everything, as it closes at 17:00. So please pay attention to this.
