Good location - first line, although the closest beach is horrible, but you can walk to some better ones. Many supermarkets nearby, as well as fast food points and ice-cream place with the best ice-cream ever!! Good price with breakfast included, Rhino is a funny guy. Probably the best hostel in Sarandë! Just one disadvantage- no AC!

A flat repurposed as a hostel with no private rooms but good location, very supportive host and great prices.

This was an interesting one. So, first, when we arrived at saranda we had a long day on the road behind us, we were exhausted and tired, so some of this might have bothered us more than usual. Now to the review: You can not find the hostel with a sign, there are none. The owner saw us on the street while we looked for the hostel. The house itself seems more like a typical apartment building. The hostel is then one of those apartments. The rooms and the single bathroom were clean, the beds as well. The kitchen area was clean enough, but seems to have seen better days. Now to the part that bothered us: Tomi, the owner was nice and always tried to help, however, it was just too much. We were really tired and he was kind of running around us trying to show us this and that and helping with those other things. When we got our stuff from the car, and I put my jacket in the kitchen onto a chair he suddenly took that jacket to our room and hung it to a hook. Without asking or anything. And just touching our stuff without permission is just weird to me. He also moved the shoes from some of the other guests from the room to the balcony. So they needed to look for them a bit. Another thing was that Tomi said "Don't worry about Corona, it does not exist", when we still had our masks on, and he always was touching people on their shoulder, which I am uncomfortable with in normal times, more so currently. I really think that he means nothing of that in a bad way, and that he just tries to help, but, as I said, it's just too much. At the same time, the other guests currently there really liked it and there were tons of writings on the walls almost praising Tomi, so other people might perceive things differently.

Tomi goes the extra mile for you and you feel extremely welcome. The setup and location is great too - but a stay is worthwhile just for Tomi alone! I would 100% stay again in Sarande.
