A monument of famous person.
A small monument, surrounded by a nice park
This monument is nothing special. According to Wikipedia Hasan Tahsini (7 April 1811 – 3 July 1881) also known as Hoxha Tahsin was an Albanian astronomer, mathematician and philosopher. He was the first rector of Istanbul University and one of the founders of the Central Committee for Defending Albanian Rights. Tahsini is regarded as one of the most prominent scholars of the Ottoman Empire of the 19th century.
The gardens in which this monument is situated are lovely, peaceful despite the promenade and shady.
Opposite the monument is and interesting piece of old wall, but no idea what that was.
