Vila Culli

It's a real disaster to find this location in this small town. We had already driven through the center several times only to find out that somewhere behind us, past a house with a red roof, it must have been up a cobbled path. And then not everyone knew what we were talking about, location was not generally known to everyone. Parking was also not that easy. A local had put his car in front of the driveway and once back up that driveway (constantly stabbing) the clutch had noticeable difficulty with it. But behind that driveway (where only one car fits) was a very neat house. Reception was great, despite the slight communication impairment. Once settled in the spacious rooms, the manager walked along to a restaurant and served a tasty breakfast in the mornings. Rooms were also very good, but beds were unfortunately a bit too hard. They do have some commercial insight, by the way. The night before we left they wanted to give us (an English speaking employee had joined) a pot of homemade honey and a bottle of raki. After a little bit of that last stuff I was sold, on vacation to Albania, always a bottle of raki home :)

High standard for a good price. Excitable hosts. Knowledge of the English language would make contact easier, although getting along using gestures was an interesting adventure. Regional specialties (rakia, glyco, breakfast, fresh fruit) - delicious. Location a bit off the beaten track and close to the heart of the city - the best! We are happy to come back. ... High standard for reasonable price. Lovely owners. English language proficiency low however "hand talking" - interesting stuff. Regional specials - delicious! Walking distance from the heart of the town and yet quiet place. Looking forward to visiting again.
