Stacioni i trenit Kavajë

The train station sits on top of a hill and not clearly visible from the main road. You will have to climb a set of stairs to see the station which is colored yellow. I believe the only train route options is to head towards Elbasan with stops in rroghozine, peqin and bishchem. It is a very slow and old train and very inexpensive travel (about 200 Lek to go to Elbasan; needs to be confirmed) but the scenery is beautiful. If you have the time, it's an interesting experience.

train travel is beautiful and a new experience

The train in Albania is like a collection of stickers just have it, but it doesn't work and it is slow as well as dangerous as there is no end-of-communism maintenance. Use buses or vans that pass and are cheap.

Service leaves to be desired. Like everything that is state-owned.
