Himara Hostel

This was by far the nicest hostel that I visited on my trip in Albania. It’s a well established place that is based in the historical home of an old albania couple. The outdoor gardens is what make this place special they have hanging beds, hammocks & lots of nice seating areas with shade from the grape vines that we ate daily as it was the season. The free included breakfast was also a nice touch with quality local produce, a great start to the day. I stayed in the 8 bed dorm & although I was worried it would be to hot without air conditioning in the evening to sleep I was pleasantly surprised as there was a nice cool breeze at night. This was the busiest hostel I went to on my whole trip in Albania the atmosphere was awesome & I met a lot of people while only staying for a few nights. Just want to give a big thanks to Adrian & the volunteers for making my time there great.

It's a lovely hostel with great atmosphere. The host will make you feel like at home. You are going to receive useful tips what can be seen around and after trips you can relax in the very nice garden. Enjoy!

Great staff and amazing garden! There is only one old dog at the hostel now. She barks sometimes but only during the day and is very friendly. Bed and bathrooms are okay. Had to shower wit cold water once. You can rent a car at the hostel, and u can use snorkeling gear or peddle boards for free!

Best hostel I have ever visited. I went there and had in my mind that am going to stay for a couple of days and ended up staying there for two weeks. The staff was the best very friendly and always trying to make my stay as good as possible ( They nailed it!!). The room I stayed in was super clean very nice designed as well and the bed was super comfy. The breakfast by far the best I have encountered fresh cheese fresh eggs fresh bread loads of veggies and everything you can imagine for starting your perfect day. I wanna thank allot Lukas Miltos Alma Justin Annia and all the rest of the staff for making this holiday the best I had so far!! I am going to be back for sure!!!

One of the best hostels I have ever seen and been. I recommend this place for sure.
