This is a gorgeous state park. There is so much to do. I feel like I have come back home every time I come here. The horse back riding is a blast. There are very nice trails to hike. There is something for everyone!

One of the best state parks Indiana has to offer. For 10.00 a car load hand out for the day .The beach is nice trails for miles. A nature center .Horse back riding.bike rental plenty of parking . One of the few tobbagon runs left in the USA.Nice playgrounds and the inn has a souvenir shop and resturaunt.I usually bring food in.I haven't tried it yet. All So there's boat and kayak rentals as well as camping and cabin rental .a pool and rooms to rent. I am usually a hiker and have yet to stay. One of my favorite places to visit.

This park has lots of great forest, hills, lakes, trails and things to do. It was our family's first time and we will definitely return. To summarize: + the campsites were spacious, heavily treed, quiet, close to birds/animals, safe for biking, and serene (we were in the more remote 500's) + the two beaches were sandy, clean and great for sunning and swimming + the boat rental was fantastic and cheap (we rented paddle-boards, a paddle boat and kayaks) + the Poto inn looks great and we look forward to staying there in the future + the floating cafe "The Galley - steaks on the lake" looks great and we look forward to trying in the future - online information on the specific campsites is sparse and often inaccurate (the low-res picture did not show that the site was highly uneven, and our slide-out was just fine despite online description prohibiting) - the provided water spigots dispensed light brown water with harmless dissolved iron (which settled in jugs overnight) - showers are warm but not hot enough for some (remainder of the bathroom experience was fine) - the provided maps are not very precise (not showing exact locations of trails)

Great trip. Staff was very courteous and upbeat considering the strain put on them during these trying times.

Lovely inn and state park. Good trails, fairly easy. Nice campgrounds. Wish they had a dog beach, but there is a small lake about 5 minutes away where we let the dogs cool off from the summer heat.
