Old but in excellent condition.
The Museu Nacional de História Natural de Angola is located in Largo do Kinaxixe, in the city of Luanda, Angola. It was established in 1938 as the Museu de Angola, and was originally housed in the Fortress of São Miguel, initially with departments of Ethnography, History, Zoology, Botany, Geology, Economics and Art.
I've been there with my 5 year old son, and we really enjoyed the show. There is a part dedicated to aquatic life and another one for land animals living in Angola. Each animal has a corresponding card with its natural specificities of diet and way of living. The collection of animals is quite, from squeletons to complete animals. There is also a collection of rocks and a special part dedicated to the Palanca Negra. Just go if you are not afraid of taxidermia...
Has some interesting animals and animal skeletons to see, but it's a bit small and quick to see. It lacks entertaining activities and souvenirs.
Great experience had taken my son amazing
