Besides having to wait anywhere from 2 to 6 hours to be able to rent a toboggan after you place your name in for a reservation the day of (no advance reservations allowed), it is a lot of fun and I definitely highly recommend you bring your own sleds that you can use to go sledding on their many side hills during your all day wait. Another option is to get a room at the Potowatami Inn, stay there the night before and then put your reservation in early in the morning so that they can text you and you could head over when your toboggan is ready, but be able to have a nice warm comfortable place to hang out while you wait. The toboggan ride itself lasts about 20 to 30 seconds, and is a lot of fun. We topped out at like 37 mph, but we've been told that some people even top out as high as 45mph.

Arrived just after 11 when the toboggan run opened. We were told it would be about a three hour wait. We went and ate lunch and walked the nature trails. Checked back at 2 and were told there was still 45 parties ahead of us. People who were just arriving at 2 were also told it would be about 3 hours. Not sure why they were still telling people that! So it is 4:20 and we still haven’t received a text. I realize this isn’t a professional theme park, but the inefficiency is quite evident. I suggest a reservation system where you have to pay the rental up front for your toboggan(s). Pick a day and time and limit it for an hour during peak days and times. Once capacity is reached then black out those day and times. Then people would not have to travel long distances on the premise that they might get to go on the run. Very disappointed in this state park.

Our family drove a couple of hours to get to toboggan run. We got there about 45 mins after they opened. When we entered the park, we were told it would be a 3 to 3 and a 1/2 hour wait before we would have an opportunity to rent a toboggan. We ended up waiting just over 4 and a 1/2 hours. 95 groups were ahead of us when we arrived. We barely rode twice in one hour and then left, as there wasn't even a whole hour left to keep riding before the run closed. We were eventually told that people staying at the hotel on the property add their names on the list 1st and then at 11am the day of it's opened up to people who show up in person. The ride is super fun, but short. I would not do it again during quarantine, for sure, with only 1 side of the run open and only 25 toboggans. Plan to get there and in line at least 30-40 minutes before they open the run if you want a sure shot at riding (eastern time zone). Also note that the toboggan is heavy and you will have to carry it back the length of the run in order to ride again or return it. If you have asthma, please remember to take your inhaler.

It was the best time go in here in January I went with my girlfriend she invited me to this place which is very cool and nice it was so much fun too bad there was only one lane open. The safety guidelines for covid-19 was followed which was amazing for a crowded place. I definitely had a great time coming here it was fun.

**EXPECT A LONG WAIT DUE TO 'RONA** Arrive early and check in at either side of the tobaggan run then go enjoy the park or grab a bite to eat. People can complain about the long wait but it's better than the alternative of no runs at all. We actually preferred being put onto a wait list and receiving a text when it was out turn. Took around 10 minutes before we were at the top and going down. Definitely a unique experience that's worth doing at least once if you're in the area. Be sure to keep your knuckles tucked in tightly.
