EPIC SANA Luanda

I came for a business trip to Luanda. I was positively surprised by the staff of the hotel. Mrs. Katja welcomed us and went above and beyond to accommodate any special requests. Having special dietary requirements, I thought my stay would be difficult, but again I was surprised, how helpful the staff is. Overall I can say, that the customer service I experienced in this hotel is 5 star. Thank you very much for your efforts and for making my stay in Luanda so enjoyable!

Very fancy hotel. Probably the nicest in Luanda, if not Angola. Outdoor pool on the second floor balcony, rooftop restaurant, "secret" VIP restaurant on 12th floor, and two other restaurants all in the same building. The breakfast brunch is quite expansive and has both healthy options (for those of us who live out of hotels year round) as well as "treats" if you're there for an indulgence. One of the bars allows indoor smoking, and the second floor balcony offers hookah. Overall very nice. I only gave 4 stars because the air conditioning is just inadequate. They should rename it Epic Sauna. I had trouble sleeping most nights due to the temperature, and I kept the AC on all day, every day, at the coldest setting. I should note, I was part of a very large group staying for several days, and the AC issues were not isolated to any given room or floor. It seems to be throughout the hotel.
