They serve an amazing 'Käferbohnensalat'.
First of all, on the positive side: the view was very nice and Grandma Brenner said goodbye to us from the balcony.
What unfortunately didn't work: I called specially and reserved a table on the terrace, after a 40-minute journey we were told that nothing was free outside and whether we didn't want to sit inside or in the courtyard by the cars. Since I said no, of course (had made an extra reservation), they set up a folding table for us on the house wall, from which an extreme heat radiated and about 100 critters flew around. We ordered a Bretteljause for 2 (which the waitress apparently had never heard of) and a mixed salad. After explaining that we just wanted two Bretteljausen, the lady wanted to sell us a Saures Allerei (then vegetarian) for € 9 - it's good that I switched to a green salad, because there is no mixed salad, she doesn't communicates ....
I saw that a table was being paid and asked the waitress if we could move - she rudely denied, as only one person left this table. Then 1 table was free, unfortunately the lady ignored us, so I didn't want to ask anymore.
Now to the food: the food was okay, but I've definitely eaten better Brettljausn - somehow the motto here was "we want to stand out" or something ... flower in the salad, in the mini Krenn bowl there was roasted onion and a wasabi nut ?! Well no matter...
The boss apologized again when paying, but the Buschenschank excursion was bumped for me, to be honest.
The cheese and pleasure platter is very good and more than enough in terms of quantity.
I don't know if the bread was homemade, but it tastes good.
The boss was personable and extremely hard-working.
The quality has its price, which is a little higher.
As full and satisfied as I am now, it was worth it - 4 stars.
After we 45 min. have waited unsuccessfully for our 2 loaves of bread, we gave w.o. The landlady said you should bring some time with you, mom only had 2 hands. Who knows how long we would have waited. Of course, the weather was nice, there were a lot of people on the way. And that's what we wanted, to be on the road and not spend the afternoon in the tavern. The landlady's disgruntled reaction doesn't work at all.
Great Buschenschank with an extraordinarily creative and appealing selection of delicacies for cold dishes. Wonderful view, warm-hearted atmosphere and courteous, nice service from the ladies of the house. Everything fits. Heart, what do you want more?
