I wanted to shut down one of 2 cars on exchange number plates, I was told that is not possible, you can only deregister one or leave it as before. So I deregistered one. When my insurance man asked, he was told that I said something completely different at the counter said he would pay for the re-registration, but I should never come back. He could have admitted his mistake and everything would have been fine. I think that's a cheek that you have to lie like that.
They did not forward my cancellation to the insurance company. I paid twice for a while and had to take care of the transfer myself. The Harley interior gives hope for understanding, but I've only had problems there over the last few years. Apart from a certain prepotency that rolls off me as a Harley rider anyway - never again ...
