Hotel Pension Excellence

This tiny little boutique hotel has amazing access to city center is conveniently located close to all transportations. The buffet breakfast was great however we waited for plates for a long time. The interior was renovated. Washroom was a little neglected otherwise great

Room was clean and warm. Breakfast was good. Worth the price. Good connection to the city.

Sorry but it's not Excellence...

I had prepaid, but my room had been given away without further notification by phone or email. The reason stated was my late arrival (as if that mattered in case of a prepaid room-they simply wanted to sell the room twice). I was then sent to a substandard, really awful substitute hotel, but no room was available there, either. After some hassle, I could move to an okay hotel at the other end of Vienna, but had to return and check in to the booked place the next morning, which meant additional hassle. The „refund“ was free breakfast, which I only had once due to poor quality. Room itself was okay, if a tad shabby and run down, but no sound isolation and extremely loud bathroom ventilation.

Based on our experiences, It was a good and clean hotel pension with acceptable services. The most important thing for this hotel, was the location. It is located in the center zone of Vienna with a wide variety of accessibility to the public transports and the city monuments. In our reservation we had breakfast included.which I really recommend it. Their breakfast table had an acceptable variety and fresh materials. The hotel has a free wifi in its all area. If you are looking for a hotel with reasonable prices and good access to the city, I recommend you to keep this hotel name in your mind for the reservation time.
