The chapel was built in thanks to the Battle of Aspern which brought the first defeat to the troops of Emperor Napoleon on May 21 and 22, 1809. A double cross with a Shiluete of Saint Sebastian attached to the top is built on the ridge with a protruding tin roof. The entrance is closed with a double-winged wrought iron arched door. A cross with the crucified Christ is attached to the wall inside. A piata stands on an altar. On the outer back is a relief depicting Archduke Karl in the Battle of Aspern from 1879, which is also the time when the chapel was built. Source: Wikipedia, Chronicle.
