Took my two new rats there for a checkup (one of them made weird sounds when breathing) and asked if their nails could get trimmed (they were really long and they were hurting themselves with the long sharp nails). They did not give me anything for the weird noise of my rat, and only trimmed some of the nails of one of the rats, saying that we could "trim them ourseves at home". Also, told me that one rat had weird red skin, but that maybe it was his normal skin. I was charged 60 euros for this (expensive as hell for a check up and trimming of 3 nails). I took them to another vet, and they discovered that my rat had an inflammed respiratory system! And the red skin was caused by an excess of oil, which could have been mentioned by the vet. We had to discover it by ourselves. We took our rats to the supposedly "experienced and recommended" vets, expecting them to give us more information about the state of our rats. Also, the staff were really rude and uninterested, making the whole experience a 0 out of 5. I would not recommend this veterinary to any owner of a small pet and/or exotic animal.

This veterinary clinic takes time for its patients and also for the pet owner. You are very sensitive to the animals here. If you don't have an appointment, it is still very quick and competent and is treated very well.

I can highly recommend the Stadlau Animal Clinic. The entire team around Dr. Harra is very helpful and polite.

Wear mouth nose protection, very clean, take a seat in the waiting room and the animal will be examined alone, if anything is unclear, you will be consulted.
