Beautiful chapel, in the middle of the village

The chapel of St. Martin already existed in front of the parish church. Restorations took place in 1620, 1833 (with extension), 1984 and 2006. The central figures on the high altar represent the chapel patron Saint Martin mitra and crosier, left the St.. Joseph with baby Jesus, right the St.. Anthony. The plague saints Sebastian (left outside) and Rochus (right outside) come from the workshop of the Imster artist Franz Xaver Renn (c. 1835), as well as the carving of the kneeling hl. Florian with burning house in the left side niche. The church has a small gallery and a bare bell in the tower. The façade figure of St. Martin carved Mario Gasser from Ehrwald. The linden tree behind the chapel, declared a natural monument, was planted around the year 1689, probably together with the one at the rectory and with a third at the church, which fell victim to a gale-force storm in 1926.
