A splendid little church with just such wall paintings, which stands invitingly in a wonderful landscape. It welcomes the visitor in a bright and friendly manner. The church is more recent, but it stands on foundations from the 12th century. Wall remnants are said to have been preserved in one side wall, the tower has medieval elements, the baptismal font comes from the late Gothic period. Those who are plagued by the thirst for knowledge should buy the small, interesting brochure that is available. The 4.50 euros are well invested. Here, those interested can learn more about the history and, above all, receive a guide to the murals. Whether they are technically frescoes is not revealed. Some of them address the seven deadly sins. Visiting church is a stimulating experience, even if you are not a believer. At least the representation of the seven deadly sins gives everyone food for thought. In "Selfiemania", the portrayal of arrogance and vanity, the beautiful lady who admires herself in the mirror, may at least give some food for thought. If you leave the place in a good mood, you could leave a little something on the offering box to keep this place so beautiful.

This lovely parish church, the beautiful bell tower with onion dome, is situated in an idyllic location, surrounded by meadows, and is surrounded by small cemetery, as usual in these places in the mountains. The interior is simple and composed, with a Baroque altar. It is a lovely place, where to pause for a moment of reflection is a pleasure for body and soul.

I have known this church for over 40 years and am absolutely fascinated by it. When the church bells ring, I am always beamed away. Since childhood I visit this and next year it is finally married 😊

Magnificent parish church immersed in the green of the Leutasch. A peaceful and serene place that invites meditation

A very nice church! Due to the slightly curved roof construction with the tower, it does not remind me of typical Tyrolean churches. The windows in the interior only on the south side are atypical, but for me this church is unique.
