Very nice staff, good bikes!

We reserved two bikes for one day on July 3rd, 2019: the first impression seemed very professional to us and we were not disappointed. The bikes were quickly provided by the dedicated employee. Unfortunately we had a technical defect on the BOSCH engine of the SCOTT Strike E-Ride in the neighboring village. A short phone call with the rental company, a spare bike was brought to us. Perfect. Returns: uncomplicated and again very quickly. Then the surprise: the lender apologized again for the defect and gave us a generous financial compensation, even though we didn't ask him about it. Note: since in my opinion the lender is not responsible for the defect, they were very generous and accommodating.

The amount of rental bikes was reduced because the service for the entire bike was too expensive / expensive, so one employee. In addition, there is a much tighter atmosphere in the store, because the boss has to explain angrily to non-paying customers that it is not possible to get bikes. Even more serious, however, is the experience that I have personally made in the store: Since on the first day no bikes were available, which was already the first shock (the years before always been possible), so we reserved that day for the Days on which bikes were still free (only 3rd and 4th of 7 days off). So when we came back 2 days later to pick up 2 bikes, there was a confused look on the part of the employee who confirmed the reservation the day before on our request. The reason was that our reservation was no longer available. A bike was in the workshop and was still repaired, while they had no second bike (from the 2nd day no speech, for which they had no bike for us, despite reservation). Our assumption: Our reservation must have been removed from the system to give the bikes to someone "more important". The best part: It was obviously trying to hide this, instead of informing us. Conclusion: In 2019, the business has developed into a stressed, under-provisioned and secretly-withdrawing juice shop. I can not recommend to borrow here again.

Bike and protective gear borrowed there for three days. Impeccable service, good bikes and really nice staff.
