We stopped in Werfen during our bike trip along the Tauernweg and the tourist office addressed us to this "Frühstückspension", which is owned by the same family ruling the butcher shop at the ground floor of the very same building.. the breakfast buffet was very satisfying and allowed us to taste some charcuterie of the house! The room was nice and clean with a very comfortable bed. The owner was friendly, took good care of us and allowed us to leave our bikes there for a few hours after our check-out. Moreover, it's a perfect location to visit the ice cave "Eisriesenwelt" as the bus stop of the shuttle is just a few minutes away by walking. Totally recommended both the place and the visit to the ice cave!

Great quality, friendly staff. A butcher's shop that is passionate about its craft, you can taste it.
