A small but nice zoo with growing biodiversity. Especially now in winter with a completely different perspective. A few happy moments included ... wolves this close is really rare!
It will be really nice when you can go anywhere again.
The zoo is not very big, but located in a charming landscape that is suitable for children.
The Salzburg Zoo comes in a very unusual appearance. First a "longer tube" with different enclosures and then a somewhat larger area. The division along the mountain is what makes the Salzburg Zoo so charming. There are beautiful enclosures and beautiful animals to marvel at.
Nice zoo, good mix of domestic and exotic animals. Enclosures are nicely designed and large. The entrance fee is absolutely okay.
