I have been using Sixt Westbahnhof for the past 15 years. I live down the street on Felberstrasse by the nearest petrol station. Much cheaper just to rent a car when I need one instead of owning one in the city. They have always been friendly and amazing to me, never have been ripped off once, and the rates have always been the best in Vienna.

Renting at the station went well - professional service at Westbahnhof -BUT: they charged me 70 EUR extra for driven KM although there is 600km inclusive and I was on 200 although on contract AND final invoice it says 600km free, no number to complain, they don't reply to my email to the given adress and I think I have to give this to my legal protection insurance - would not recommend this to anyone.

I thought I was getting a good deal when I booked a rental through the Sixt website. Then, to my surprise at the time of pickup, I come to find out that the price reserved didn't include protection package (this was not clear during online reservation). Then, the total price more than tripled (3x). Besides that, there were other extra fees (flexi-late return, road tax, contract fee) that I only came to find out after being charged on my card, which again changed the final price. This is a total lack of respect to clients. The attendant suggested to go to the station *next time* in order to get all the details on the total price. Well, I use online services for two reasons, convenience and social distancing during corona times. So, no there won't be a next time. And no I was never informed of the aforementioned extra fees while being there. Really disappointed with this service, and do not recommend it.

Very very bad experience!!!!!! I was renting cars from sixt for many years and in the last 6 months they started to charge extra money when returned the car. First, it was because they found a demage and assign it to me even it was not me. Then, they decided that the car was dirty and changed extra 80 euro. When I asked why they said they it was more soiled than normal. What that means?? They lost me as a returning customer! Don't get near them. There are more reliable and cheap rentals companies.
