I reserved a minivan for our family of 5 for a 2 week road trip. I received a confirmation and then a couple days later, I received a call from FunCar from a woman asking how many passengers we have. I told her we have 5 people so she said, "oh okay. So you don't need 7 seats. You can have 5." I stated that we will have luggage plus my son's car seat so we need the bigger car. She said okay. Later that night, I emailed FunCar to confirm that I will get the van. They stated it is not available but I can have a station wagon instead that seats 5. I already own a car that seats 5 people. I don't need to rent one. We need the bigger vehicle to fit our family, 2 weeks worth of luggage and sports equipment, a cooler, etc. The confirmation states that if the vehicle requested is not available, I would get a comparable car or an upgrade. Well, a smaller car is not an upgrade. In fact, it's a downgrade and one I don't need. I've rented hundreds of cars in my life and this is the first time this has happened. Why advertise a car if it is unavailable and why send a confirmation if it is useless? Dealing with Nicole T. via email was pointless. She is rude. I will never rent a car from them.

I have rented here frequently and service is really good, staff friendly and the process is very easy.
