The personal and extremely attentive service is, for me, what sets Schnell apart. This is the sort of place where the lady behind the counter notices that we are out cycling on a hot day and insists on refilling our water bottles with ice cold water before we go. In general Schnell seems much more customer-focussed than other local bakery chains: as mentioned, the service is far warmer and the opening hours are longer (all day Sunday!). That the company seems to genuinely value your custom is also seen in the quality of the products: the bread stays fresh a day longer and the cakes don't skimp on the expensive ingredients. They even still put a splash of rum in the Nussbeugel. Going to Schnell always feels like a treat, no matter how often we go.

I'm shocked by all the 1-star reviews, no idea what's really behind it. This bakery is one of the best in all of Vorarlberg when it comes to the quality of the products. There are a variety of wonderful, delicious and extremely beautiful cakes that taste like they look. Have been customers of the bakery for a long time and never had the problems (such as the ones shown here!) To come and see for yourself. I can only say that this bakery comes to the highest standards as in the patisseries in Paris. Definitely come by yourself and get an idea of it. The newest branch in Kaiserstrasse in Feldkirch is the absolute HAMMER! Top modern and well-kept. The only thing I have to complain about are the sometimes unappealing saleswomen (also in the exhibition park!). Nevertheless: keep it up! 5 *!

I always loved going to the old café Schnell because it was just cozy and personable. The cakes and tarts were always great. Unfortunately, this has not been the case for a few years now ... the cakes and cakes no longer taste so good. The Sacher cake is very dry and the apple strudel tastes of chemistry. But the hammer is the new café next to the Lidl. It has become a self-service shop where you have to get everything yourself. And the staff is also not very friendly. I wanted some whipped cream for my Sachertorte. The good woman sprayed me a portion on my plate that was very fluid. But she didn't get the idea to set up a new plate because the quality of the whipped cream didn't match. I also work in the catering trade and would never dare to give out such a plate. Today was the very last time at the Cafe Schnell and I will not recommend it to anyone. You are on the descending branch with your new concept ..... something that was always best should not be changed.
