excellent hotel, very comfy room, great view from the balcony.
parking garage just under the hotel. Even had a delicious pizza at the lobby jsut after midnight, when all restaurants were long closed. Thanks, Croatian night receptionist!
We booked this hotel for one night as a stop over on a road trip now in October (2020) and were happily surprised.
Checkin: Flawless and quick by smiling and attentive receptionist. Parking (basement) was also taken care off there and then so we could come and go as required.
Room: Smallish, but did what it said on the tin. Nice modern bathroom, but semi-clogged drain meant water all over the place when showering. No big deal for a one night stay, but would have been a pain for longer stays. TV - Mainly non English speaking channels, Internet - useless as no secure connection could be astablished (again, not a big deal, as good 4G connection in the room - at least our room on the 2nd floor). Had the window open during the night, but still felt a tad too warm in the room for our liking.
Breakfast: Did not take the Eur 18 per person option, as there are plenty of options in the town at a fraction of the cost.
Location: Could not be better. Garage parking (Eur 10 per 24 hours) with lifts directly to the hotel and just on the outskirt of the old town packed with restaurants, cafés and shops. Also, the hotel is located in a small shopping center with a very very well equipted Interspar grocery store. Very easy access from/to the 190/191.
This will defo be our stop over place when travelling between Switzerland and Austria in the future.
The place is good value for money. Market is quite accessible and lot of dining options nearby. That is, it's a great location. The property itself isn't new. Rooms are small. However, renovations are going g on and might affect the facilities u get if u stay there now.
Staff members r quite nice.
The lady receptionist gave the incorrect card not once but TWICE. Worse part - She was extremely unapologetic about the entire scenario. What kind of hospitality is this: how difficult is it to provide a key card with correct credentials. Atrocious and disrespectful service to say the least
Came here through Switzerland and Lichtenstein, so driving through very beautiful countryside and then ending up here was a treat. Feldkirch was very cozy and had a small-town feeling, with lots of old architecture but also some newer buildings mixed in. This hotel was very nice, the rooms were big, they had AC which was quite important and the dinner buffet was something else! Not usually a buffet person but this was very good. Also, they had wine on tap, beer on tap and an icecream bar, all included in the buffet. Definitely can recommend anyone looking to stay at a quality hotel to go here.
