A small example of the brutality of politics and war. A place of remembrance and prayer. Lovingly cared for graves and a beautiful church in typical Russian style.

Here a tragedy occurred in 1945. Cossacks fighting on the Nazis' side against Stalin resisted their extradition by the British army to the Russian army. As a result, about 300 dead are in 28 graves.
