Always beautiful, great view of the Lienz valley floor

After a two-hour hike from Gaimberg, you will be rewarded with a wonderful view over Lienz. Next to the church you can also see a linden tree that is over 500 years old. I found the history of the Kirchl's origins very exciting ..!

Below the Schleinitz lies at 1,272 m. Height, the beautiful "Helenenkirchal" The Helenenkirchal hike takes about 1.5 to 2 hours to walk. The hike is ideal for young and old, old and young! The starting point for the hike is the parish church of St. Andrä in Lienz. Up over Oberndorf u. along the forest path - you can either get over the Helenensteig or alongside blooming meadows and rushing forests - up the "Friedensweg" to the Kirchal. On d. Way to the Helenenkirchal, there is a very nice mill - the "Glanz - Mühle", where fresh water can be refilled from the fountain! Arrived at the Helenenkirchal, there is a special reward! ❤️ A wonderful view over the Lienzer Talboden with the Lienzer Dolomites to the south! A special gift ❤️ And always worth a visit!
