She's good and careing
Prompt
Dr. Entner simply gave my cat an infusion without knowing what it was (which of course did not combat the cause). My cat was only well again for a short time after the infusions. I went to Dr. Schichl in Gratkorn, who was able to determine the cause immediately (without several visits to the vet) and did everything possible to save her !!!!! Unfortunately it was already too late .. Maybe my cat would have had a chance before that ..
The treatment started with a slap in the face from the vet to my cat.
My hangover was prescribed antibiotics and was told that everything should be okay in 2 days.
Unfortunately my beloved tomcat was dead after 2 days.
Also, I could not reach woman when my hangover was much worse. The lady also had something better to do than call me back. This has absolutely nothing to do with expertise and professionalism.
And I'm not even talking about empathy towards animals.
Absolutely not to be recommended !!!!!
Unfortunately, I decided to have my rabbit neutered here (6 months, standard surgery, NO early neutering).
After 2 hours we were allowed to fetch him, on the way home a SEAM OPEN (nightmare, the rabbit did not move, was still sitting in dark red blood in the transport case!) When I called the vet said I should wait 30 minutes a little bleeding is okay , luckily it was immediately clear to me that this is not normal bleeding!
Immediately drove there again, emergency surgery, all seams were checked, Hase was luckily kept and cared for there overnight.
The next morning we were able to fetch him, at home I noticed he couldn't feel his hind leg. I thought it would go away in a moment, he's in pain. (We didn't get any pain medication or antibiotics !!)
However, he then barely ate for 2 days, had to buy nutritional supplements and initially nursed him overnight with nutritional nutrients every 2-3 hours for 2 days.
His foot got worse and worse, he hardly wanted to move, but luckily after 3 days he was able to poop normally again.
Well, a week later (!) I was at my trusted vet (she was before Christmas vacation -.-), she was shocked:
Necroses have formed on the wound, there is black dead tissue everywhere at the wound edges, it is partially crumbling and underneath you can see pink-red skin and it is also a little open, the leg has a nerve disorder, he cannot feel his toes! He now has to wash him 3 times a day with Beta Isodona so that no bacteria get into his spermatic ducts and he may die from it, he gets 3 days of antibiotics and 5 days of painkillers and a vitamin B vaccination once a week, in the hope that he will be in 12 ( !!) Weeks can move his leg normally again, please how does an animal have to suffer ?!
I am traumatized myself, he thought bleeding to death on the way back to the vet after the castration, and now we have a good 3 weeks of problems. I know that mistakes are human and can happen, but a lot more went wrong. Unfortunately no recommendation, please be careful!
The nerve disorders can happen when an animal is tied up too tightly under anesthesia, so apparently the procedure must have been rough, there is no other way to explain it :(
I hope he will be back and can hobble normally in 3 months ..... My rabbits are free house rabbits and are accordingly loved and treated as family members.
The castration cost € 70, - btw, and with the remaining treatments, medication, etc. I now come to about € 200, -, I don't attach a photo of the wound, I can hardly look at it myself and I want everyone to see it save.
