Very nice and newly renovated basilica.
Very beautiful Gothic cathedral in the heart of an alpine setting. Church has been rebuilt several times over the years. In the Romanesque nave, the flat ceiling would be replaced by a vault, after the Josephine abolition the building suffered and was restored in the late 19th century (towers). The Romanesque capitals and the medieval crucifixion group appearing modern to the viewer are worth seeing. A baroque Habsburg mausoleum is located in the church building. Friends of modern art will get their money's worth in the so-called Boeckl chapel with frescoes in a modern style (1950s-20th century).
