I would normally give this spa 4 stars. It is situated beautifully in the Gasteiner mountain valley. Bathing or sitting in a sauna, you will have an awesome view of the surrounding mountains. There's good choice of small saunas and a few small baths and the decoration gives it a natural feeling, blending in with the mountains. There is a catch. When I was there two of the baths were not properly cleaned. Especially the cold bath in which quite some hairs were visibly floating. Especially in these times of Covid 19 you'd expect hygiene to be better. Furthermore, although the entire spa area is obviously a zone of silence and relaxation, the two ladies at the counter were having loud conversations together as well as with some customers for nearly half an hour on end. Very unprofessional in my opinion. They could be heard at the other end of the sauna area. I would recommend the Felsentherme sauna's to anyone who likes a sauna experience and I expect others not to experience the same downsides.

Great experiece! 3hrs went quickly when enjoying different kind of saunas and pools. Quiet, peaceful and well organized. Worth every euro.

Only nudist sauna :( The rest of the things are acceptable. Maybe the pools can be warmer, but valid for the whole country’s thermals.

Bad Gastein offers good skiing but this place for bath is the worst ever. The temperatures are around 30 degrees, staff that can help you only in german, rules everywhere and bad cleaning. Durt everywhere in the lockers.

In the morning there are less people than in the afternoon. Majority of visitors are older people or young mothers with babies. Personally, I recommend buying 3 hours ticket or the ticket for last few hours. We bought a day ticket but left after 4 hours. Otherwise, it is really great place for relaxing after skiing.
