There are a number of different hiking trails around the Weissensee. The hiking trail to Techendorf from the Dolomitenblick is easy at first, but then becomes quite demanding because a lot of roots and stones mark the path. In addition, it gets quite steep in places. The path is about 12 km long. The path is actually closed to cyclists, but some still drive the path.
Weisensee classic: clear crystal water, no wind, quiet for a few people, warm water (August 2020), great walk from the end of the lake to the beginning to the information center about 13 km, it's worth a walk here .. :)
Super nice hiking trail along the Weißensee. If you like to take beautiful vacation photos, you should definitely take a camera this way! It is possible to hike from the east to the west bank of the Weißensee. However, the path is partially only suitable for experienced hikers. If you come from the west bank, there are many boat docks that are approached by a boat shuttle service. The west bank is also easy to walk on. The east bank, on the other hand, is difficult to walk on and the first jetty only comes after a hilly stage.
