The food is always great and the personel is very friendly. We've been guests for more than 20 years!
We've had a great dinner at Engl. For two of us, eating low-carb high-fat, the dish we chose was adapted by replacing the french fries by grilled vegetables. The (grilled) meat was very very good! And the dessert, a mixed cheese/sausage plate was a nice positive surprise. Also the kids enjoyed their dish and the kaiserschmarren, or ice-caramel very much. And all that for a quite affordable price. All in all a great restaurant!

Great restaurant with a unique price-performance ratio in the middle of Kötschach! Could only pick up our meals because of the lockdown but got an insight into the friendliness and family atmosphere of the restaurant! When we're back in the area, a visit to the - then hopefully reopened - restaurant is inevitable!
