Hotel Alpina Family Resort

We booked 7 nights all inclusive and when we arrived at the hotel they couldn't find us on the check in list. Basically nothing was ready for us we had to wait extra hour to check in, exactly what you need after a long drive. No one explained anything we were just been given the keys and that was it. When we finally got the rooms we had an unpleasant surprise to see that the bathroom was not properly cleaned, no shower gel/shampoo (we had to ask at reception, the only one we received during our stay,thank god we had our own otherwise we had to ask every day ), no mini fridge in the room the sheets looked old and were not in pair. In regards food service , some meals are served as self service for some days we had to chose for the dinner menu. In the morning it was self service but the personel did not pay attention that the food was running out and by the time we were coming for breakfast around 8:30 we had to tell them and wait extra time for the trays to be refilled. Same breakfast every day, the leftovers were served for lunch/snack. 2 evenings out of 7 dinner was served as self service for the rest we had to chose which was ok, we also had the drinks included ( beer,wine and fizzy drinks coke,fanta,sprite- all from the tap). The good point to the chef that the food was really nice. When we had the first meal they assigned a table for us which we had to use for all the meals, a day before we left we have been told they will change the table and they moved us further in the back which was a lack of respect from my point of view, no one explained why! Some services were missing even though when you book the hotel they show like they are included and for some of them like solarium we had to pay even though it is not mentioned in the description. Our group had another guest from a different hotel and we told them he will come for dinner and we will pay for him, we have been told we will be charged 10€/dinner and we said ok we will pay at the end, when we checked out we were charged 35€ instead of 10€ even though we only had him for dinner, and when we asked why they said they did not included the drinks even though he did not had any drinks! The staff from restaurant was nice but they don't know english, and they had their manager (i beleive it was) who knew english but he was rude and not really helpful, and the instructions were only in german everywhere even the dinner menu, and this is not how you welcome your guests and you pretend to be a 4* hotel!

This hotel Is very nice And the people in the hotel are all polite and courteous And the nature and the area are fantastic The great place to go on vacation as a family We are very excited and will be back next year

4 stars? Where? Hard to imagine, but shabby carpet, room service undone. Hardly any towels. We had “all inclusive”, which wasn't all inclusive! The shelf in the bathroom broken. The aisles to eat are kilometers long. The elevator is tiny, hardly imaginable how you stand in there in winter and then you can only go to 2nd?!?! With regard to Corona, the biggest shortcoming: The distance rules also applicable in the dining room could NOT be observed at any time! The cleanliness at the buffet was unfortunately only sufficient ... a shame for a four star hotel. In my opinion, the food on offer is not sufficiently varied. The buffet was also poor, it was only refilled on request. We drove two days beforehand because it was just completely inappropriate. Unfortunately not a good experience!

Super family friendly. We stayed here for a week and enjoyed it a lot. Breakfast was great and a bit of everything, you could get a packed lunch ready from the breakfast buffet. It was refilled quickly. Coffee, cocoa, juices etc everything was included, the carbonated drinks were not our taste. Every morning there was an information sheet on the table with the weather, hiking tips and today's hike accompanied by the hotel. Our children are too small and so we haven't tried it Dinner you have the choice between vegetarian, fish and meat. At breakfast you were asked what you would like for dinner. Salad, soup and dessert were then from the buffet. There was a children's menu with ice cream for dessert, but the children could also get soup and salad. The two swimming pools were a bit small, but our children still had a lot of fun. The rooms were clean and more than enough towels were available, in the swimming pool there were extra towels. There was tea and water in the swimming pool. Everything was clean considering the number of children. The staff was super friendly and very attentive! There is a small playground, table tennis and childcare from 1pm to 7pm and afterwards a cinema evening from 7pm to 8pm and 9pm Very friendly entertainers and a nice program. The kids said it was great. The disadvantage was that the hotel consists of two buildings and if you had a room further away from it it was like a labyrinth. We got used to it after a few days but you can get a little lost at first. There are also too few parking spaces. Overall a nice hotel good value for money. Sure here and then you can improve something and tastes are known to be different, but I can't understand the 2-star ratings.

Very friendly, very accommodating, well-kept atmosphere and good food! Ski bus stop in front of the hotel, Would come back here ..!
