If you're an American thinking about studying abroad, avoid this school unless you're here for a temporary exchange program. I can't think of a single American they let graduate, because they've always found bureaucratic ways to hold them back with credit acceptance or whatever it may be. I spent a whole extra year completing my music education because of how they misrepresented their program and it's ability to recognize credits already completed in the U.S. They also require you to learn German at a pretty proficient level within a year, which is not realistic for most serious music students who devote the majority of their time to cultivating their instrument.
